Hello all. Sorry it's been so long since I posted. I keep telling myself that I need to make a blog entry and other things get in the way an suddenly more than two weeks goes by.

DS is home for the holiday weekend but I have to work for much of it, it's a big sale for us so all three of us in the department have been scheduled this weekend. However I will probably not go in on Sunday so we can have a family BBQ. I discussed it with one of my co-workers and he thought it was dumb for me to come in anyway. We don't need three people and I have some days coming to me.

On the knitting front I have been busy. I am working on Branching Out and should be done with it well in time for my friend's birthday. Here's a picture courtesy of my new camera:

I am also working on a pair of socks for myself out of some Kroy sock yarn from my stash. I am using Charlene Schurch book Sensational Knitted Socks for the pattern. Here's a photo of that:

As you may be able to see from the photo I am still using four DPN's to knit them. One day I will conquer using 2 circ's but for now this method is working for me so I continue to use it.

I've been hanging around the Cuppa Tea group on Ravelry and just had some fun with their traveling tea box. A large box goes around stuffed to the brim with tea and goodies. When it reaches you, you take out what you like and add some more. It arrived yesterday and I got it mailed off this afternoon so I get the Hot Potato award from the Moderator. More importantly I got some yummy tea and goodies for myself and DD (who I cannot get interested in knitting but is as stuck on tea as I am)

Secret Pal 14 is still in the works. The blog for it should be up and running very soon, I will link to it when it goes live.

Beautiful work there. And thank you for giving the little guinea pig a good home.

Just the other day I printed out the pattern for Branching Out.
Now that I see how great yours looks I will make it.
